Q - How does your affiliate
scheme work?
A - We provide links for visitors to
click which must be placed on your website, which then take your visitors to our online travel
insurance order form. Any click from your web site which results in a
travel insurance sale will result in you receiving commission on that sale.
The more sales you generate the more you make. There is no limit to the
amount of commission you can earn.
Q - Can anyone join?
A - Yes. If you have a website or a blog you can join
our affiliate program and earn cash from it. If your website is travel related,
chances are you will earn even more! We reserve the right to refuse
inappropriate sites including those with adult or illegal content etc.
Q - How do I join?
A - Join by filling in the online
Affiliate
Scheme Registration Form. You will receive an email to confirm your registration.
Q - How will I be paid?
A - Commission payments are automatically sent to your
PayPal account. Click here
if you do not already have a PayPal account. Paypal
is free to join and receive funds.
Q - I have signed up for the
program, how do I get started?
A - You must now place affiliate links on
your web site or blog. You may need some knowledge of HTML to do
this. We have provided links in the admin area for you to use. As soon as your
links are in place you can start earning cash!
Q - How often will I be paid?
A - Commission payments are made to you
monthly, in the payment window at the beginning of the second month following.
For example, sales generated in the month of June will be paid at the
beginning of August, provided you have reached a minimum of £50
commission that month. If you do not reach £50 commission in any
month, your payment will be held until you reach the £50 minimum commission, and
will be paid in the next payment window.
Q - How much will I be paid?
A - You will receive 15% of the
total sales generated via your web site (less Insurance Premium Tax or IPT currently 17.5%). For example. If your
total sales less IPT in May are £550, you will receive £82.50 at the beginning of July.
Q - Do I need to invoice you
before you pay my commission?
A - No. Payments are generated automatically.
If you have not received your payment by the 15th of the second month
following, please check to ensure you have reached the minimum of £50
for that month before contacting us.
Q - How do you track sales?
A - All incoming clicks are checked to
see if the referring url is one of our affiliates. Affiliate clicks
are then tracked with a cookie containing the affiliate reference,
which is set for 30 days. All online sales are checked for a
reference cookie and if found the sale is recorded against the affiliate's account.
Affiliate sales also generate a confirmation email to the affiliate.
Q - Where can I find my affiliate link code?
A - We do not have a tracking code in
the link. Instead we check the referring url. The link code is a
simple HTML link. You may use the code on any of your web sites,
but you must log in to your account and register each of your web site urls,
including sub domains. If you do not register each of
your domains and sub domains your sales may not be tracked.
Q - Can I check how much
commission I am owed?
A - You may log in to your account at any
time. Sales are registered in real time, so you will always have an up
to the minute report!
Q - Can I create my own banner or links?
A - You can create your own banner or links, but
if you do the link must be approved before use. Please contact
us if you wish to do this.
