Worldwide Travel Plan - Medical Conditions
Worldwide Travel Plan specialise in providing cover for persons with previous medical conditions. Pre-existing medical conditions do not preclude cover being available. All medical conditions are considered when issuing your travel insurance policy. A simple additional medical premium can often be paid to cover the condition, and the standard travel insurance policy conditions will be maintained for all other apsects of your trip.
Any condition which is being treated by a doctor or medically qualified person, or for which the traveller takes prescribed drugs could be an exclusion risk. It is vital when applying for travel insurance to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions. Without disclosure any medical conditions may not be covered.
If in doubt, you should always disclose the information.
Without disclosure, you may be left in debt for the full amount of the treatment if the condition requires medical treatment whilst on holiday.
Mr and Mrs Sewoo from Merseyside saved over £200 on an annual multi trip policy including specific medical cover from Worldwide Travel Plan.
"We are very pleased with the saving, and feel safe in the knowledge my husband's condition is completely covered on all trips to our holiday home in Bulgaria. We had been quoted over £400 by the Post Office. Your price was under £200." Mrs S. Sewoo. April 2007.
